A Must Read
I really enjoyed reading this book. When I began reading it I couldn’t put it down. I love the way the author explained the Rip Van Winkle concept. The Author asks important questions and gives wonderful illustrations in which to relate. It gave me a lot to think about, and offered me the tools to change my reaction to life and it’s many pit falls.
I have recommended this book to several people I know. I want them to feel the hope and inspiration that I feel reading it. I’ll be ordering the workbook and rereading this book. It’s that good.
I find myself looking at my life differently now. When I read the title and saw the word value, I immediately thought of money. But, after reading this book I know the value he speaks of is more about my Character.

All I can say is “Wow”
All I can say is “Wow”… This guy nailed it and I’m really impressed. I’m a little bit of a “self-help” junkie, so I can definitely give feedback (good or bad) around self-help books.
I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I wondered if the book was going to be mostly fluff or something of substance, but the “WillPower Now” book delivered. Many books in the self-help genre fail to offer any real tangible information that a reader can use right away. Most just regurgitate info from other well-known sources. Some just find a different way to package what most of us would consider common sense. And others promote untested, unrealistic, or unethical ideas. But the “WillPower Now” book is definitely something that can be used as a manual that can be referred back to over and over again. Not only is it motivational, but it’s instructional as well.
To say that I’m looking forward to reading this book again with the help of the companion workbook is an understatement. I must admit that there were a couple ideas in the book that I had read or heard before, but it’s always nice to have certain topics validated/reinforced. On the flip side, I found myself also lingering over different chapters because “WillPower Now” introduced me to many new ideas that I can’t wait to explore further.
As far as constructive criticism goes, there’s not much for me to point out. I do have to say, however, that the beginning of the book started off a little bit slow for me. In my opinion, I would have loved to have read a bit more about who “Will Harris” is. He did offer more of his background throughout the book, but we only get bits and pieces of his story. And, those bits and pieces are enough to see there are more interesting things to know about this author.
As, far as how the book was structured, I think it flowed very well. I really like how “WillPower Now” discusses how to increase your value at home, work, and the bank. I also like Will Harris’ personal illustrations. They really helped to drive home his points and further shows that he practices what he preaches.
So without trying to blow this new author’s head up, I genuinely enjoyed his book. I think that it’s something that both men and women can benefit from. Whether you are trying to be a better business person or a better employee or just a better person in general, I think everyone can take something from “WillPower Now”.
Can’t wait for the audiobook to come out!
